I understand that this is the first novel and Stephanie will more than likely get smarter as she goes, but right now she's TSTL. I also find her family super annoying, which is probably the intended effect. I like Morelli, but I have a feeling I'd like him even better if I was reading this. A woman doing a man's voice just isn't as sexy as me imagining him in my head. After this one I'll probably switch to non-audio.

I find it hilarious that the version I downloaded is the cassette one. I can't help but laugh when I hear "this is the end of side A, please turn the tape over to listen to side B," through my iPhone headphones.

I wanted to find something similar to The Help, but so far this one is a bit boring.

Although I haven't read her books yet, I thought I'd share with my goodreads friends that Jennifer Rardin died on Monday. Very sad. She was only 45.

Wow, I'm surprised at how hot this book is! I love a protective man, especially a gorgeous and goofy one.

This feels like Law & Order with a splash of Psych's humor thrown in. I like the characters, especially Rook.

The end was hard to get through without crying. Loved this book!

I listened to this all afternoon and I somehow adopted a southern accent. This is powerful stuff!

This one is a bit hard to follow on audio so I'm not sure if I'm going to continue with it in this fashion. There are a lot of weird words and strange concepts to try to keep track of.

Hmm. There are some interesting and creepy parts but I find myself falling asleep between them. Also, I don't like it when the narrator does a female's voice - he sounds like a drag queen.

I honestly didn't think I'd like this book, but I decided to listen to it at work on a whim, and it's utterly fascinating and completely engrossing!

I don't remember which goodreads friends like Being Human, so I thought I'd post a general update. They're making a US version set in Detroit!

So I can listen to music at work and it just dawned on me that I could listen to audio books as well! I'm actually an audio book virgin and I'd like some recommendations. I'll probably start with the Jim Butcher books because I wanted to reread them anyway, plus I love James Marsters. But please let me know what other audio books I should check out, even if I've "read" it already. Thanks friends! : )
