Great opening! I love reading books that instantly feel like they could be easily made into a movie.

Got kind of dumb towards the end. The Captain was a caricature if I ever saw one and completely ridiculous. I am interested in what the aftermath of the events of this novel will be like though, enough to check out the next one.

So ... I'm looking for a specific recommendation. I just finished Perfect Chemistry and I really enjoyed the white girl with a bad boy Latino dynamic. Anyone know of anything else like this? Preferably something dirty.
