I normally get tired of the whole, "I don't care how much danger I'm in, I'm gonna live my life like a normal teen!" trope, but Dana isn't acting as stupid as you think she would. I forgive her for some of her histrionics, and she's not acting as petulant as she could. I'm also really interested in the Erlking; he reminds me of Nahadoth from (what I've read of) The Hundred Thousand Kingdoms.

Here we go again with a different Fae mythology, this time with the Wild Hunt. I don't know why, but for some reason I just keep coming back to Seanan McGuire's take on these things. Even though her books aren't my favorite, I can't say it doesn't feel like she does her research.
