I really don't understand why this book is as long as it is, and it's similar to a sprawling war drama that desperately needed editing. This story isn't even compelling to me, a nice setting but there isn't any real tension. It feels like we're just dawdling smh

Onyii's relationship with Agu is freaking adorable and I love them so much! Idk how I keep reading even though the plot's not that compelling to me, I do like the characters though so that's enough to want to reach the end

How is this book 400+ pages long and why? Also reminded me how irrationally angry I get at the idea ppl believe you can even Have black eyes. Black eyes don't exist. No person has ever had black eyes, they are all dark brown Frank🙄. Joy and Q are my favorite characters so far. Frank could get hit by a bus and I'd say ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I wouldn't even know how to describe this reading experience. The writing is good but that's the only saving grace, the story is ok and the characters are never going to make an impression on me smh
