Amy's illness just seems like a cheap ploy to add some drama 🙄 but it's not even worrisome bc I know she's gonna live

They quoted the movie again smh I can't with them. And it's so funny to me they made Laurie "disgusted" at the thought of marrying another March sister when originally he would've married any of them! He just wanted to be a March lol.

Reynolds and David Yoon have a very similar writing style but I'm thinking I'll like Reynolds' debut better

I've made this a book I read at work because otherwise I would never finish it. This is a bore and nothing more than fanfiction, I refuse to believe this is the same Jo from Little Women-- the idea's beyond insulting smh, same goes for Laurie too

Some of things Clement writes are so stupid it reads as satire which I don't think this is. I think she's trying to be poetic which makes it even worse

It's like they forgot Jo called Laurie "Teddy" until page 76 and now she calls him both intermittently but this book more seems to show why they didn't end up together than why they should have lol

It really does seem so rude to Jo to have her suddenly and inexplicably like Laurie romantically. It just doesn't make sense with her character really, but alas I plow on 🙄
