I think I’m tapping out. It’s not bad, but it’s just… there. Way too many explanations and descriptions, and almost nothing has happened even though I’m a third of the way through the book. I love Conan, but this is feeling like a chore to go any further in

This book is weird as hell.

It's been such a long time since I read this, I probably won't remember what was there before and what's new in the Author's Preferred Text edition...

I am enjoying the overall plot progression, as the threads Salvatore have been building for years continue to tie together. But the pace is being severely hurt by the near-constant battle scenes. I'm finding myself skimming them more and more the further I get into the book

This is incredibly good so far. It's unmistakably a young adult novel in writing style and cast, but it's so very well done that I don't care in the least. I'm hoping it stays this good the whole time

Hopefully this will be the book to end this dry spell I've had since I had to study for my P&C exam. I absolutely adored Ready Player One. The reviews on this one are kind of lukewarm so far, though...

It's interesting how much more of an ensemble piece these are now... Tons more characters and concurrent plotline than the old days

This book is crazytownbananapants. I barely understand what is going on at any given moment, there's so much crazy sci-fi terminology being thrown around, but damned if it isn't FUN. Let's see if it can keep that momentum going into the second half, as that's where most of my recent reads seem to falter

Waid has been on a hot streak of late, and Del'otto's art is always gorgeous. Plus I've been missing Peter Parker of late. Am looking forward to this one

Very interesting so far. I like the idea of a middle-ages Batman who knows he's not getting any younger, but is trying to hide it through tech and reclusiveness. The mystery is intriguing thus far as well. Hopefully it all holds up in the second half

Was trucking along nicely, enjoying the story... Then Oscar Britton showed up and drug everything to a screeching halt.

Got this through Netgalley, am about 1/2 way through it. Very interesting so far, although we seem to be entering into X-Men territory in some ways...

Wow, not even 1/3 of the way through and I think almost every major character/plotline that are still living have been mentioned... There's a ton going on here
