Awkward wording and contradicting descriptions. The author is descriptive. But for a short book, the monotonous sentences and lack of activity in the story (so far) makes the book seem like its longer...

I'm not sure what to think. The writing is pretty monotone and the characters don't seem to have a personality of their own. They also have a weird affinity to mushrooms. I just hope that this story's nothing like Mexican Gothic...

JJBA is either really funny or really sad. I like that Araki takes lots of risks in the series. The deaths in the series are memorable even when the character that died is minor and easily disliked.

Part 4 will always be my favorite. It lives up to the serie’s title: ‘bizarre.’

I'm loving the book so far, but I think that the movie did things somewhat better. There are several scenes in the book that seem unnecessary and drastically slow down the pace of the story. But that's just one thing I have to complain about so far.
