If you haven’t read this book, disregard this but I cannot believe the shit Tully just pulled

I just have to say, that this novel is so fascinating because it genuinely does a really great job of handling the complex topic of a terminally ill child, and all the parts that come with it. But then randomly it’ll take such an intense weird left turn that will just be so bad and cringy that it destroys any build up of good feeling towards the work. Glad I’m re-reading it but it did deserve the criticism.
