What the f-... well, I can't say I wasn't warned about the main theme of this book.

Wow, I didn't expect Jules to be so vitriolic about Inuit.

Finally getting to the meat and potatoes of this book.

A very in depth (approx. 2/3rds of the book) introduction on the Communist Manifesto. A great deal is made about the origins of communism and its complex origins, however the conclusion leaves me with a smug aftertaste, mainly focusing on discrediting the Manifesto (and Marx's reasoning errors) and saying "and yet here we are: capitalism" mainly by glossing over what trends happened after its publication.

I'll mellow my original statements, this introduction (easily 50%+ of this edition) is covering in detail the source of Marxist though and the philosophical movements that led to it. A messy process, but one wrought with careful thought and analysis.
