Chapter 4:

If you asked me what happened in this chapter, all I could tell you was they went to Scotland.
Nothing else really happened. I guess it’s “world-building?” Even though we are 30 or so % through the book?

Chapter 3:

1. Finally some action!!!

2. Calling them by their numbers is a serious deflater for me. And it’s not even 1965 it’s nineteen sixty-five. It’s really jarring and ruining my reading experience.

It’s obvious how FMC is feeling, you call it from the first 5 pages, but the MMC really intrigues me.

Chapter 2:

No reveal on how time travel works. Well sorta but no science about it. I’ve been clouded by the science of Three Body Problem that I expect everything to now have in depth descriptions.

But I like MC and Gore. However can we not call people by their numbers. Or if we do, we need an index at the beginning of the book.

Chapter 1:

It’s got me interested. It’s always fun seeing how the time-traveled people from the past adjust to present time. But hopefully that isn’t the basis of this book.

MCs seem good. I don’t have any issues with them so far.

Part 9: Pioneers

I didn’t like this part. It makes sense, but I just didn’t enjoy it. Nothing more. Moving on

Part 8: Our Infinite Days

Not a fan of this one. A shame that’s my favs are floating away.

But this was a section where it was the calm after the storm, so it was pretty meh.

Part 7: The NPC

Part 6: Marriages

Well… this is awkward. I fear Unfair Games is about to be a paper boat going through Niagara Falls……

Oh Sadie, what have you done.

Part 5: Pivots

Bit of a boring segment. Happy for Sadie. Happy for Unfair Games. But a bit of a meh moment.

But I can see where the story is going and I’m all for it

Part 4: Both Sides

Damn. This one hit hard. I feel like I related to Sam a lot in this section. Actually, in most of the book.

Marx is slowly climbing the ranks of my character tier list. A very good side character. Also Lola seems cute. I like her outfit choices so far.

Part 3: Unfair Games

My feelings are conflicted. Sure, Sam does the wrong thing from time to time, but I don’t think he genuinely means it.

But Sadie remains my favourite, but damn this poor girl has it tough, mentally.

Also, I need more Zoe in my life

Part 2: Influences

I have no clue how Gabrielle wrote Dov as a character. If I were her I’d be sitting at the desk swearing at him while I wrote his dialogue out LMAO

I love Sadie and Sam’s relationship. It feels like I’ve gone through those exact feelings like they are.

Part 1: Sick Kids

I like the vibes so far. I can see where the character relationships are heading and I’m excited for it.

I think Sadie is my favourite so far. I do like Sam, but shes def the focus of the story and I like her whole character more.

Cheng Xin has lost me as a fan. How can one person be such a pacifist :(
