Just got back from New York, where I was sitting in on the recording of The Death of Dulgath. Tim Gerard Reynolds is, of course, doing a great job. Can't wait to hear the rest!

Been editing a chapter a day of Age of Swords (Book #2 of The First Empire). Hoping to increase that to two today. Going to New York and need to make up for lost editing time.

Wow - a new milestone reached. Hit the "most followed" globally list for the first time (currently at #39) and #35 most followed for the US which is much higher than my normal 47 - 50 spot. Very exciting! Thanks all for the follows - I greatly appreciate the support.

It's official, The Death of Dulgath books are on the presses. Should be ready to ship Nov 16th. I think I'll have copies to send out around Nov 20th.

Finished reading the proof for "The Game" a new short story of mine in the Unbound anthology. Looks good, and book is going to print soon - or so the publisher tells me1

And done...just finished edits for Age of Myth based on feedback from my editor. Now it's back to Del Rey for copy editing.

Heading out to do a panel at the MLK Library in Washington DC. Panel will be 1:30 PM if you happen to be in the area.

All the printer proofs are signed off for The Death of Dulgath, so presses will be running shortly. Also the studio and narrator is all booked for the audio. The ebook, is already out and doing well. So now it's on to other stuff. I'm currently going over changes to Age of Myth (Book #1 of The First Empire). Wrote a few new scenes for my editor, and just tweaking stuff here and there.

The first transport is away!! Or in other words, The ebook of The Death of Dulgath is now available on Amazon & Barnes and Noble. More venues coming soon. Also, the files have been sent to the printer...still waiting on proofs.

All three copy editors have turned in their feedback for The Death of Dulgath. Down to the final stretch now.

Just heard from my distributor...print copies of The Death of Dulgath should be available for pre-order shortly. Audio and ebooks are already for sale.

Received developmental edits for Age of Myth and copy edits for Death of Dulgath. Guess I have some work to do now. ;-)

Just heard from my publisher - pre-order pages of Age of Myth (releasing June 6, 2016) are going up!! Already seeing movement in my author rank list - glad to see people are excited about this new series!

I'm in the mountains at my "writing cabana" this week hoping to get a new short story written. It's solar powered and has Internet - what more could I want/need? Last night had a fire and played guitar under a star-filled sky - priceless!!

I'm reading the 15 finalists for my short story competition. Winner will be included in the Death of Dulgath novel.

Just finished up the last round of changes from Robin and she should have the last 25% of the book to the beta readers tomorrow. It's looking really solid!

About to run an online tutorial for goodreads for Writer's Digest University. Should be fun.

Up early to review some of the final copy edits in time to send to the beta readers later today. I really like the way it's reading...hope they will too.

Back home but still in "vacation mode," still, I wanted to update people on the status of various things. First, Robin is done with the alpha read of The Death of Dulgath, she really enjoyed it and is doing the copy edits in preparation for the beta readers. I've also been working on the "Behind the Death of Dulgath" ebook and have around 10,000 words on it so far. Should have that done shortly. More updates soon!

Only 58 hours left for the Death of Dulgath Kickstarter. Thanks to the 1,500 plus backers who have raised more than $63,000!

50% finished with the editing of The Death of Dulgath editing. It's going well...as is the Kickstarter which just passed $60,000.

Finished The Death of Dulgath yesterday, and got my new Macbook Pro in the mail. Hoping to be able to do some editing while also going on a little vacation. Been a solid 2 1/2 years or writing to finish this book and The First Empire series.

If all goes well, I'll finish The Death of Dulgath today (9th Riyria novel). Still need to do an editing pass - but the book will be done.

Only 2 more chapters to go to finish Death of Dulgath!! Ahead of schedule by at least 2 (maybe 3 weeks). Also the Kickstarter is entering it's last 11 days and has raised almoste $53,000. It's heading toward stretch goal #8.

Thanks to the Death of Dulgath Kickstarter, we are going to get a graphic adaptation of my short story The Jester. Stretch Goal #6 met..now on to #7! Almost $50,000 raised so far.
