Age of Myth proof sheets have arrived!! So, I'll be proofreading in preparation for the press run. I should have some ARC's in a few weeks based off of the version I have in my hands. It's getting pretty exciting!

Took the day off yesterday to run out to the land...returning the solar panels and solar generator now that the winter blizzard is over. We didn't lose power, but it was nice having them in case we did! Today...back to the grindstone.

Robin has all the books shipped for The Death of Dulgath Kickstarter, still has posters, t-shirts, and mugs to do, but the hard part is over. Meanwhile, writing is going well on book #4. A lot of restructuring but I like the way it is turning out.

Work on Book #4 is proceeding well. A lot of restructuring is being done based on Robin's alpha read - all great stuff. New outline is done, I'll have to add 7 chapters - that's a lot for me on a second pass. The first four chapters are done. I really like the direction the book is going.

Robin and the people at Del Rey have been polishing the font treatment for the new series, just saw the latest version and LOVE it! Hope to have an updated cover for Age of Myth soon!

After working for the last few weeks working out a major restructuring I'm now back to editing. First two chapters of book #4 (of the First Empire) are now done!

Just finished an incredibly well written blog post by fellow author Kameron Hurley about bad contract terms and how they effect authors. Well worth a look for readers an writers alike. Check it out!

Editing for Book #4 of The Legends of the New Empire is going slower than I'd like. This book needs more work than 1 - 3, but at least it has started. It would really help if this snow would melt - I generally think best when I can walk around.

Buried under 20+ inches of snow near Washington D.C. - Have electricity, plenty of food, and most importantly uninterrupted time to write. Have started the restructuring of Book #4 (Age of Legends) and hope to have the editing down by Mid-March.

Not sure if I'm mentioned this or not, but the copy edits are done for Age of Myth and the book is now officially in production. ARC's (Advanced Reading Copies) should be available by end of March - exciting!

Meant to write this update a few days ago, but forgot...I've finished the edits on book #3 of The Legends of the First Empire (Age of Swords). The edits for the last two books will take a bit longer, they need more work than the the first three, but I expect to be done in April or May. Will keep everyone posted.

Done editing for the day. Getting ready for some holiday cheer - I hope everyone has a great holiday season.

It's release day for the audio version of The Death of Dulgath. Really enjoying listening to the final released version. Also included is a bonus short story by author T.C. Powell - well worth a listen.

Work on edits for Age of War (Book #3 of First Empire) is going well but being set aside as the copyedits are in on Age of Myth. It looks like the book is in pretty good shape, so it shouldn't take too long.

The other day I finished proofing the audio of The Death of Dulgath - you're going to love it. Robin is hard at work shipping pre-order and Kickstarter orders. I'm on Chapter #10 of book #3 of the new series. Things are busy but good.

Last chapter before the bonus material! I'm pretty sure they are including the bonus short story and a preview of Age of Myth - will know shortly if that is so.

Really enjoying Tim's narration of this, and sad that there are only a few chapters to go.

No changes required for that chapter - now on to #23

A couple of minor corrections, which Tim will do in studio tomorrow. Now on to Chapter 22!

Continuing with the audio proofing - no changes in the last chapter - now on to Chap 21 - The Storm.

Proofing the audiobook version - as expected Tim Gerard Reynolds is doing an amazing job.

Robin is shipping pre-orders and Kickstarter copies just as fast as she possibly can. I'm busy editing book #3 of The First Empire series. Received the proof recording of the audio version of Death of Dulgath, and expect another round of copy edits for Age of Myth in a week. Busy time - but we're loving all the activity.

Three pallets of books just arrived at my storage facility - The Death of Dulgath books are finally in my hands! I hope they fit.

A bit behind on my "internal schedule" for edits to Age of Swords. It's turning out REALLY well, but I did have to add quite a bit toward the end of the book as it felt rushed to me. Should be done in the next few days.

The Death of Dulgath books are officially in Virgina, but about a two hour drive from here (at the warehouse). Once they are "officially checked in" I can have a shipment sent up to me. Shouldn't be too much longer now.

Well the big shipment of The Death of Dulgath books are still in Wisconsin waiting for a truck to pick them up. But I have received one copy that was FedExed from the shipment. It looks and feels great! Really excited to get this book in the hands of both the Kickstarter supporters and people buying the books through conventional channels.

Just noticed Amazon (US) has Theft of Swords on sale at a deep discount 41% - just $9.65 right now. Just thought I'd share for anyone who might be interested.
