Still going strong, I like how casual it is, anchored in the gossipy every day life of the town

Very fluid writing, but too many pop culture references and too many cliches so far ? I do expect it to be a trap and I think the actual story is only gonna start now?

I loooove the slower pace, gave so much more impact to the first actual bits of creepy ! But although it’s good, it’s not great. I like it, I don’t love it, and so far I don’t see it stick with me for long.

First paragraph and we're already referencing X-files ? I'm sat.
(Although, fanfics about Mulder when Scully's right there??? HELLO??)

Liking it so far, nothing groundbreaking but the mystery definitely arouses my curiosity 👀 And the slow pace allows time for the settings to be properly built, very enjoyable👌 The writing is on the good-side as well

More like "omg social medias are bad" and "let's have coffee and cakes in a public library" (which sounds bad, like can you image de crumbs ?? IN THE BOOKS?

I dont' want to be a bitch but this feels a bit artificial? Like, things were running too smoothly and some more trauma was needed to push the story? n_n

Damn that chapter was depressing
But it's still very well written and enjoyable
HOWEVER the french translation is SO BAD. It drives me mad. It started with a missing "!", changing the whole tone of a sentence. Then there was a "fifty" turned into a "65". Now a "room with widows punched into it" became "windows broken by a punch"??? HOW ARE YOU A PROFESSIONAL TRANSLATOR

Idk how we're supposed to fell deeply for the characters and feel involved in their growth with so many time skips

The writing is SO GOOD
I was really afraid it was gonna be to triggering, but even though I already cried twice, I think it done so poetically that it isn't to dramatic. It feels very real and tender

I love this. The pace is fantastic, the charactersation is so funny yet tender. I love the narration in "we", sometimes "you". Surprisingly, I find the humour quite British? Reminds me of Jonathan Coe a bit.
We also stan the representation, especially when it was written something along the lines of "the ones who are menstruating".

Yeah idk ... It's a bit bland isn't it?

I don't like the paaaaace. The chapters feel so disconnected, I can't get into the story, I feel super far away from the characters n_n

Idk, the writing is kinda bland, and although Mukesh is a very sweet man and the plit seemed great, everyone else seems like a flat asshole and I don't like the multiple povs :(
