I listened to just a little bit more over lunch and now we're definitely getting into the "WTF?" territory.

Started this one last night. I haven't read much steampunk so I'm not sure how this will go over. Of course steampunky gadgets are extremely aesthetically pleasing to me so it's got that going for it. This book throws jargon at you in the beginning. Bounders, buggers, The Horde. I think I'm getting it straight now...

My son listened to this with me for a little bit was like, "Maybe they are taking the Silent Hill approach to this." An interesting idea...

I'm starting to get the appeal of audio books! So far this is pretty good and a nice change of pace.

Listening to the KU audio edition. I'm not a big audio book person but, hey, since it's available I'm taking advantage. Hoping it's as good as I really want it to be...

My coloring was as timid and unassuming as I was. Pale. Insipid. So reticent that it had never fully materialized. I was a slight, grey ghost. I like pretty words. This shows promise :)
