Why do I feel like I know everything I need to know already? What's left?

My first Aly Martinez. It's been in my KU library for a while now, and I figured I should go ahead and give her books a try before I start adding more to my TBR!

I read this book YEARS and YEARS ago and never continued the series. Since I just read Strange Love, I thought I'd pick this up again and see where it takes me. We'll see how it goes. I remember exactly zero of the things.

I think my biggest issue is that the older I get, the harder time I have buying into the "teen master" anything. It's why I've mostly stopped reading YA fantasy. I just can't anymore with teen master spy assassins, and here we have a group of teen master thieves. I'm really trying to not overthink it.
