After being on my TBR since 2022, the audio is FINALLY available in my library system.

Y'all, what is up with ALL these bot accounts? I've been on GRs for 13 years and it has now become such a nuisance, especially within the last year or so. Like, no, I do not want to pad my friend list with fake profiles (even though some still manage to make it through). Sheesh. It's super annoying.

This girl Amma touching all over her boyfriend and him being okay with it? Girl.

This book is about to turn now. Let's see how these people with these ulterior motives fare...

I like Rachel Hawkins, so I'm excited for this one.

I can see why this book was recommended. I'm rooting for him even though I know how it ends.

This was recommended to me by a friend. I'm curious to see how I'll like it.

It wouldn't cheapen his legacy--it would be his actual real legacy. There's a difference.

I'm a fan of Gillian McAllister, and so far, this is progressing a little differently than I imagined it would. I'm interested to see how this continues to play out..

His writing really reminds me of Stephen Graham Jones...and I'm not mad about it.

I'm not sure if this book is gonna be for me. She really had x-rated fantasies about our MC bases on a painting in a book? And our MC has already laid claim to out MFC. I mean, some people are into the whole "you belong to me" deal, I get it, but like 12% into the book? Plus, the whole "normal" shtick and not swearing is a little grating. It's just not what I was hoping it would be.

I still can't get past this one sentence from earlier in the book. It has me all 🤔

Listening to the audio for this one (and I listen to a TON of audiobooks). It has multiple narrators, and for some reason, the recording quality for the main narrator Martha is very muffled sounding to my ears. The other characters so far? No problems. When the audio gets to her POV, I have such a hard time hearing everything she says. Frustrating.
