While most of the sector had been gentrified and revitalized after the [war], this seedy handful of blocks seemed to prefer squalor. Upscale here meant that the obscenities tagged on the walls of buildings were grammatically correct.

I need [the cat] for my blog, you see. I'm running a book blog, I mean a beauty and book blog. I'm sure you've seen these bloggers, who all have a cat running around on screen. I can't manage to keep one in this small apartment, what with being a student as well. But without a cat you can forget about the book blog...

Rereading sappy old-time favorites, as a means of postponing the items on my to-do list:

Current pet peeve: repeatedly calling Japan the land of the raising sun in official advertisements. Your target audience is not even English speaking!! *screams*



... and yes, that changed my mind about ordering the book box. Nothing turns me off like sloppy grammar.

I'm pretty sure people sneak in here to have sex and rub their fluids all over it after school. It's that kind of couch. But we all fight to the death to sit on it during class, I guess because everything's just a million times more bearable when you're not in a desk.

And Leah's also into slash fanfiction, which got me curious enough to poke around the internet and find some last summer. I couldn't believe how much there was to choose from: Harry Potter and Draco Malfoy hooking up in thousands of ways in every broom closet at Hogwarts.
