i don't know if anyone is going to understand this but i am frustrated by the lack of explanations of the stoner criterion
i feel like it's not at all obvious to understand magnetism from an electronic band structure point of view and there is suspiciously little explanation on that :(

This is so dramatic

Somehow this is my first time reading Wuthering Heights

Not actually reading this in a linear way but I like the contents of page 128
My current physics hyper fixation (and potentially my future speciality as I’m reaching the end of my student career and approaching my PhD) is magnetism and this book is a great approach to teaching the basics and introducing more advanced concepts

i read all the other dan brown novels years ago so i don't remember if they were better of if i was just a much less seasoned writer but this is just so... like, i don't know, not as clever as it thinks it is

This is an extremely underrated book which would be extremely successful were it published today as it was ahead of its time. It has been the highlight of the year and I’m sad to be nearing the end…
