There’s something pathetic about the main character and I know it’s harsh but this is the first time I’m like the protagonist should stand up

I know everyone is different and she’s a character but I wish she would put some effort into looking good and dressing better. I know it’s shallow but I don’t know I wish the character would switch it up a bit and gain some confidence

This book is now making me sad I just realised no matter how many books I read and how great the romantic interests are I’m just never going to have that it’s so sobering I think I’m punishing myself by reading these books
