Yeah, sorry. I'm with Shane on this one. If that is in fact NOT Jesse then Kaden can't expect Shane to let himself be ignored, dismissed, or lead on. He's really tried, changed for himself as much as a chance to earn Kaden's friendship, trust and affection.

So, let's just point out: Kaden's singing voice reminds Shane of Jesse, Kaden's eyes are green like Jesse's, Kaden plays piano and guitar like Jesse, Kaden covering his smile/stifling his laughter reminds Shane of...someone. The evidence is piling up.

He plays piano and guitar? Hmmmm. My theory is gaining more credibility at every turn.

Okay, so I have a theory as to why Kaden treats Shane and Nick like dog shit. The idea isn't new and the set up is kind of overused but...wouldn't it be ironic (?) if Kaden Berlin really was Jesse? That geeky, spectacled, non-cool, shlubby tutor who does whatever he has to rub it all in - especially if he was originally part of Luck and was forced out (shades of Rock Star). Oh yeah, just desserts baby.

15 songs for the first of a dual band concert? Jeezus, that's a long ass set. Moonlight will likely do as many - if not more - which puts that show at around, oh, 3 hours without the gap in between bands and any opener they might have used. (Which, as a music fan, would be a dream come true were the price for tickets comparable to a typical concert.)

Oh man, Shane you are a tease. Also, reminds me of Adam & Tommy. Adam (gay) kissing Tommy (straight) is the HOTTEST THING on stage, ever. The action here go JUST SHY of that though. Still hot.

So, I'm probably going to regret saying this NOW, but it seems like these guys do a good job with communicating. Few (if any) misunderstandings here, and a worry gets addressed relatively quickly. That's refreshing and pleasantly anti-stereotypical (and it's done without feminizing or girling up either of they guys). Nice job.

OOOoooh, like "in vino veritas" I think there is something to how a person reacts in their sleep to another's touch/kiss. For instance, I hate being snuggled. I'm loving this slow build up. Sometimes that can be annoying, like the author is deliberately stringing the reader along...but the sizzling tension here is fitting. Friends-to-lovers deserves a bit of exploration.

No no no no. One does not spend their college years "flipping quarters." I don't know what game that is, because I spent more than 4 years BOUNCING quarters & ping pong balls into cups. That's typically how one plays those games. Flipping quarters infers someone needed a "heads or tails" series of choices.

JFC what the hell did he do to his shoulder. You read about people passing out in the bathroom all the time, landing all sorts of ways, and a shoulder seems to be a safer alternative to one's head (I'm assuming) but certainly more preferable than smacking into tile face first. I just, seriously, 6 weeks to heal? No cast, just a sling. Sounds like I'mma hafta do some disbelief suspension here...
