I'm having a lot of trouble getting into this. And it's a shame, because I really like Höst's other works, but this one just isn't as original or engaging.

This is stupid. Intensely, unbelievably fucking stupid.

The writing is surprisingly rough, but the idea is good, so I'll stick with it.

This is so good that I want to hug the author, except for the misogyny part, which is so bad I want to punch him.

Almost finished! And right in time for the end of the year, too. It appears I'm going to have read exactly 101 books. Cool.

I love this anime. Love it. I really can't wait to see if the manga is as good, especially considering how good the Death Note manga was.

This is kind of like the 'where are they now' segment at the end of a movie, only this is less interesting because everybody's dead.

Okay, that was such a cheap Shocking Swerve. Not at all believable, and not at all necessary.

This is cool. And weird. What in the name of Jesus Whale is going on? (Actually, speaking of Jesus Whale, Adam and Ifi would love this series. I hope they get a chance to read it at some point.)

This is so good. And I'm still not finding new things to say. But I'm really, really enjoying this.

BIZARENESS! Man, this series is the single strangest thing I've ever seen. I've been told it gets less weird after the tenth book or so, but until then... I get to enjoy. Hooray!

That was a very big coincidence. But a very interesting one.

I'm waiting for Bruce to be realistic. Also, it just occurred to me that Lowell would make a much more interesting protagonist than Juliet.

I'm not entirely sure where the story is going to go from here. Things seem to have been resolved.

So that was pretty cool. I'm surprised by how Clayton was handled, but I like it.

I'm kind of worried that this is going to start lapsing into doll-shaming. But maybe Wittlinger will be better than that.

This just occurred to me: I really like that Larson doesn't constantly say, "This was back when..." or "Keep in mind, this was a time before..." It makes the story a lot more immersive.

I am enjoying this. Particularly William.

I was going to say that I was pretty sexist at this age, just like the boys, but actually? I don't think I was. I mean, I wasn't about to lead a feminist movement or anything, but I wasn't THIS sexist, and neither were most of my friends. Maybe it's the time period?

Another sex scene? Really? Why was this book assigned to teenagers?

I kinda like this Judy Blume-esque kind of feel. I feel like I can see where the story is going already, but the tone is done really well.

I'm nervous about this one. You'd better not let me down again, Wittlinger!

I wish they'd focus on Holmes more; he's a lot more interesting.

For a book that opens with a gas station shooting, this sure isn't very event-oriented.

I really need to read this at a faster pace, just so I can have something new to say at each status update. Because I'm fresh-out of ideas.

Oh, great, now we're getting to Kira II: The Annoying Imitator. God, I HATE Misa.
