Loretta is starting Hunger: A Memoir of (My) Body
About halfway through and I am, not surprisingly, having a complicated reaction to this book.

Loretta is starting The Consuming Fire (The Interdependency, #2)
oh crap. There's 17 mins left of the audiobook and nothing is resolved and it's going to end on a total cliffhanger. Dangit! When's the next book out?

Didn't even bother to read the blurb, just grabbed it as soon my audible credits were available and started listening.

Holy smokes. The series "advice to abused children" just broke me. Such incredibly powerful poetry.

These poems are so good, visceral, heart-breaking. I can read about three at a time, slowly, over and over again to take it in. Benaway is an amazing poet.

Loretta is 60% done with Fire in the Stars (An Amanda Doucette Mystery #1)
I am really enjoying this. Best Canadian mystery series I've come across so far. Liking Amanda Doucette as a character a whole lot. Here's hoping it carries through to the finish...

I visited Monticello, spent two weeks at UVA, and now I've gotta read all about Jefferson. This seemed a decent place to start as this is the paradox that fascinates me.
