This story was so beautiful and embodied perfectly the comics. Susanna Clarke’s writing is so poetic and dreamlike. I loved the historical adds, but most importantly how she wrote Morpheus: he’s threatening, cruel, prideful and revengeful. He’s not a god, he’s an Endless. And mocking him will cost you everything.

Funny tale inspired by Hungarian folklore. I loved how the author worked around with medieval oral traditions to tell this story. I don’t know if Valosag and Elet are metaphor of Dream and Death; I don’t think so because it doesn’t works well considering their respective personalities. But to each their own to interpret this short story as they want!

Like it but that’s all. The writing was good, but not my favourite. I enjoyed following Benson in his first (and last) dream, exploring what could have been his life. But on the other hand, I didn’t feel connected to his character.

- The Mender of Broken Dreams (5/5)

My favourite story. I love it so much, it was so beautiful and poetic. The author respected the Dreaming and Morpheus’ character, while creating the figure of the Mender which I loved.

- The Witch’s Heart (4/5)
Beautiful and sorrowful story. I loved the plot twist at the end.
