I wasn’t a fan of this one and it’s the first time I can’t really connect to a story written by Claire Keegan. Maybe the use of the first person pov? or just the themes? The writing is still on point though.

A very first short story bizarre, and I have to say, I wasn't ready to reach such a piece in a Keegan's collection. But in the end, and without surprise, it is a very well written story. I'm not a fan of infidelity, so it's difficult for me to say that this story echoed within me. But the very fact that men are always the ones taking advantage of women and abusing them is upsetting.
