i didn’t know a book could break me that way

again, i hope the sequel would be a bit better, just as when i started the first book. but already 100 pages-in, i can tell the author abandoned the idea of continuing her plot and strengthening her worldbuilding for the sake of smut 🥲

the mystery was a bit long to settle but now it’s getting interesting. and scary!! i think this book will be much darker than the 1st one

Girl, you’re saying this because Wrath may have lied to you but you don’t even take 30 se ones to consider if Envy was lying to you too? Tell me you’re a drama queen without telling me you are.

i hate to be this person but… the wattpad vibes are hitting too hard for me rn 😭😭
also, i kinda like Wrath because he’s really down to earth and always humbling Emilia (even if she doesn’t realise it lol)

Can’t believe the girl keeps saying no to every demon prince she meets, and gets out of it without a scratch, aren’t they supposed to be horrific and dangerous?

It’s a shame because I’m so hooked by the murder mystery, but I hate Emilia. Her behaviour and personality are uneven. She sounded like a fragile thing at the beginning and now she’s turning into a vengeful goddess who can control a demon when she doesn’t seem to care that much about magic. Also, the magical system is so interesting but all the author does is info-dumping without even explaining her world.

Not a fan of the writing (repetitions, too much tell and no show). But things are getting interesting
