At the very least it seems like there’s a realistic reason for them to not be together. Their lives are simply clashing and incompatible and their attempts at fixing it just made it worse. I mean miscommunication ruined the day once again but all of the external factors (family, job) make a lot of sense. Sucks that they still love each other but life won’t allow it.

I’m really struggling w this book because they don’t elaborate on why they actually broke up in the first place. I don’t feel I have enough information to root for/against them so I’m kind of in this lull. Dealing with this will-they-won’t-they where I don’t care enough about them to freak out about it. I know there’s something about long-distance. Something about his dad. Okay. What actually happened?

I love the couples in this book so much bc you have these m/f couples w men who want to become better people for the women they love, who want to change and grow and devote themselves, and they don’t want anything in return they simply want to be worthy (it’s the mr darcy effect)

Man this book is just really well written. The changing POV doesn’t distract from the story and we get such a rich glimpse into each character’s perspectives and diverse voices. Also the stuff that happens is insane. Considering how much I talk abt this book and the show it’s surprising this is only my second read ever of this book lol
