Might be the only audiobook I respect because of the writing style. Listened to this while on a 3 hour flight yet only got 1.5 hours through. But honestly it makes me think of Julie and the Phantoms but like. No magic and more mature? lmao. I like band stuff.

ok i know i was just talking about how great this book is so far considering there was no romance yet but i have to say mr darcy just showed up and they have been bickering and now i am going absolutely ape shit :D

I hate to compare this to modern books but man the romcom as a genre has just degraded so immensely...Like I just thought it was fact that the story will centre around the romance...but that is Not the case here. Its so rich and full of substance and has these themes of social expectations and sisterhood and so much more COMPLETELY unrelated to the romance. Which I hope makes the romance so much more satisfying.

One more book left in my reading challenge <3 regardless of whether or not I reach it, I read more books this year than last, and I have been reading relatively consistently. I do wish there was more time in my life since there are so many books I'd love to read, but I like what I did with my reading this year.
