This book is rather "safe" as in it has no smut, and surprisingly, it approaches a series of complex topics in a really relatable manner. You may not agree with Cal or Max, you may make other choices, but you can clearly see where they are coming from.

I am really loving this! Both Cal and Max have their flaws, but I love them both dearly.

At 3% I was thinking: "This ain't looking good". At 4% I'm "Holy Hell! I like!!". Rough first few pages, but a good start.

It's not starting very promising, but I keep my hopes up.

Yeap, I'm not thinking any better of Sofie (it's "Sofie", not "Sophie"). I do like all the others, though. :-) Ok, maybe Karl not so much, because there's not much to know about him. He's there just to make Sofie interesting... and that's a shame.

I still don't like Sophie. At this point I think I'll just hate her for the rest of the book.

I've come to realize that I hate Sophie.

The story didn't go the way I thought it would, and honestly, the turn it took was for the worse. Now is hard for me not to dislike Stacy. Major miss with the protraying of Damon's parents, and their friends' were so secondary there was not much sense for them to be there. There was unrequested, unwarranted display of stupidity, meanness, and... does the author really thinks that was an "outing"?

It has ups, it has downs, but in general it was a very good idea. I find Maddox' and Damon's relationship a little bit hard to believe in certain points, and I definitively don't like the parts were the author hints that possessive behavior is sexy. It would be great if authors would make a bigger effort towards eliminating such toxic patters from the fantasy world of what is ok and what is desirable.
