I'm having my doubts about this one. It's like taking a regular Harlequin romance story that will end up in domesticity, marriage, pregnancy, lost of kids, a dog and white picked fence, and make it gay, BUT artificially introducing the supernatural element to justify the biological existence of a segment of population being naturally nurturing, passive, submissive and needing to please all around them.

There are some mistakes, some repeating how Taylor really is happy to be an omega and do, basically, housewife tasks, and the level of "I want to bear children" implied is a little unsettling for me. It feels, so far, like a twisted out story with a hard attempt to validate the home making lifestyle. A lot of bodice-ripper clichés rolled into a gay, supernatural story. But I'm giving it a chance.

Loving it! I imagine Jack like a Reth Butler, and Oliver like Ashley Wilkes. The Writing styles has some oops, but remains very enjoyable.

Starting good. There is a little pomp in it, but so far I like it.

It's not getting any better. How has this author published other books? Of is this the only pretentious, disconnected tome of his collection?

Hell, please be over soon! I despise this book! I hate it! The author is unbelievably self centered and don’t even care about connecting the bunch of topic it touches with is (poorly) proposed central thesis.

This book is seriously hard to read. The author can't seem able to sustain his impossible theory about this world being alien or rejecting on mankind, and branches around a motley arrangement of topics, and theories within it, in a rather disconnected way, seeming only to serve his desire of self aggrandizing. Totally disgusting.

As usual, enni ing the Hell out of Ms. Hart's writing. So very well written.

I have read better books. I'd take The Gospel of Lie any day over this. Then again, I actually liked The Gospel of Lie... The point being, that I could have used my time readings something better than this.

Slowly pushing myself through this painfully bad story.

I'm having an awful time trying to push myself through this book. The writing, the pretention, the stupid assupmtions... they make my stomach churn! Maxim is the super hot and super perfect, and Derek is the super hot, super perfect, super rich and super troubled. The assuptions the book make, and some truly retrograde preconceived ideas... this book is so not worth my time!
