Oscar nom number 10 for Road to Perdition. Speculation was that the poor weather when shooting that movie brought on Conrad Hall's cancer again and he passed away soon after the film's release. Man o man, the cinematography of that movie is amazing. Such a loss.

Can't believe he was nominated for 9 Oscars and he still didn't really rate himself as an actor.

Nell taking on a subsidiary role for Newman's Own with Newman's Organics and making a fortune for charity sounds amazing. Newman's Own donated over $60m in it's first decade and I think I've read over $250m now. Amazing person and life he had.

Wow, he got Tom Cruise into racing and motor racing on the breaks from filming The Colour of Money.

Smith really isn't bothered about telling readers how it is. Poor animals in this book so far. Elephant poaching galore, dolphins skewered on harpoons and sharks getting stabbed in both eyes. It's all about the story though folks. Lol

Wow, he cheated on Joanne Woodward with Nancy Bacon a writer whilst he was filming Butch and Sundance and saw her on and off for 18 months afterwards. Shocking stuff.

Wow, didn't realise he directed Rachel, Rachel and got an Oscar non for it. So did his wife. Talented guy, no doubt.

Very much like the Dresden Files so far but with it's own unique twist. Very enjoyable so far.

Love the first person pov and world building so far. The nod to Harry Dresden was quality too.
