Genius how Watney escapes the dust storm but then the rover flips and he loses everything three sols away from the MAV. Fuuuuuuck!

This book is frickin awesome :)

The research that has gone into this book is astounding! It's racing along still and the detail is mind boggling from a physics, mathematics, chemistry, biological and political pov. Telling the media an astronaut is alive when there had been national mourning and then as a double whammy telling them that he's going to starve to death and that NASA can't communicate with him is a job of nightmares!

I loved the movie adaptation of this book with Matt Damon but wow, the book is something else. Brilliant is not the word. It's interesting, educational and pacey. Almost unoutdownable. Shame I'm picking it up after 10pm at the moment

I've just started this, I feel shattered and still can't put it down!

Still dragging along. The mystery and characters just aren't interesting at all. Still I like Paula Hawkins' writing so I'll carry on in the hope something worth reading happens before the end
