Too many characters so far and barely any of them interesting. Not fussed so far. Really short chapters though so it's a page turner on that respect but not because of the story so far

Bit harsh isn't it. Thorn is kicking all the boy's asses so they combat teacher chucks three in at once at her, one of em dies and the end result. 'I name you murderer.' Now that's harsh. But a great way to start a story.

And the hurt just keeps coming. Estate manager, Julius's father figure has died from the injuries following the death of Cornelia. He killed all the assassins after they'd done their deed. 😭

Wow Pompey is hard-core. He found the assassin, got a confession and had his two daughters killed in front of him.

Aw shit no! Cato's assassin got to Cornelia. Tubruk is fooked!

Lepidus you muppet. He cocked up against Spartacus's horde and got killed. Caesar a general now. Ave it!

Did Caesar just meet Spartacus on the mountain over looking both armies? ;)

Caesar won his trial to get Marius's house back now there is a slave rebellion. Spartacus!!

Love the pace of Iggulden's books. 100mph! Starts with a mass attack on a rebel fort, then fights with pirates now who knows what.

Wow I always thought living in L.A. would be immense and it certainly sounds it. Billie bumping into Matthew Perry at Mel's Diner and then Brad and Jen and Courtney Cox at a house viewing of Lionel Ritchie's pad sounds awesome.
Watching The Osbournes at the Osbournes sounds quality too!
And bless him and Billie splitting up. 9 months shooting Doctor Who can do that to a marriage I guess.
