Bloody hell he's at it again! Such a nice funny and fun story to start off with (well besides the ivory trading) and part two has gone very dark. Not sure I enjoyed it too because of it. Everyone dies after Sebastian tries to save Rosa before the bomb goes off on the Blucher he gets shot.
Wilbur Smith is definitely the master of the unexpected and one of the many reasons I love his books!

Bloody hell Flynn O'Flynn tried to kill the great bull elephant Plough of the Earth and ended up wounded the idiot. Then in true unexpected Wilbur Smith style Fleischer came across him and hung him in front of Rosa! Gut punch again!

Rosa has gone full military hellcat! Get Fleischer Rosa get him, get him!

Holy shit. They just killed Marie Rose (a new born baby) :(

Smith really isn't bothered about telling readers how it is. Poor animals in this book so far. Elephant poaching galore, dolphins skewered on harpoons and sharks getting stabbed in both eyes. It's all about the story though folks. Lol
