A lot of readers have tore this book apart. Ok so our favorite four letter word didn't exist back then, but barring that this story wasn't that horrible. Best thing it is short, and I got it for free.

The preface of this book was very interesting explaining how the author designed the magic system of Recluse. That was worth the read even if the rest of the stories in this book are duds.

I have read quite a few of this author's books as they frequently come up for free on various sites (BookFunnel, etc.). Most of the author's books are decent enough for a KU read, but I don't think that I would purchase them.

One of the better books from this author even though it still requires a strong suspension of belief.

So far this is better than I expected. Good action, but character development has been rather thin. I don't really care for any of the characters yet. Might be a good KU read, but not sure I would buy this or the following books.

This book's GameLit blurb didn't appeal to me. However, experience with the author's other books (and the Clint Eastwood cover character) prompted me to buy this book. A Western-themed character in a fantasy setting as done by Hondo Jinx (Wrangler series) and now this author are somewhat popular. I always cringe starting one of these books horrified that I am going to read another horrible Cowboys vs. Aliens rip off.

On KU this book is decent enough for some mindless escapist literature. Similar to a book series by Michael Scott Earl called Rock God (which I hope someday he will finish even it sells like crap). Lots of non-safe MFFF & lesbian sex. Typical lion harem scenario - one dude lots of women all of whom he sleeps with and who fool around with each other. Other than group & lesbian sex so far very, very sexually vanilla.
