I'm having some of the same characterization issues I had with A Strange and Stubborn Endurance, but it's the first chapter and I haven't met the love interest yet so I won't judge too hard.

A little peeved by Kadou having to talk his older sister, the literal sultan, out of a rash decision despite not wanting to rule. I just don't like it...
