I'm LOVING this! The author is hilarious and the characters admitted their attraction to each other and kissed within the first few chapters!! Unheard of in romance novels that often rely on superficial, unrealistic conflict to keep the characters apart fooooorever!

Hahaha omg! I just realized... ok so I've been really enjoying the hmm.. "antics" of the Presger translators. And Translator Zeiat's hilarious inquisitiveness and speaking style! And I just realized she reminds me of the characters Tehol and Bugg from Erikson's Malazan novels!! Hhahahaaha!!! They are so hilarious to read! The absurdity! Hahah love it!

Gotta love romance novels for the speedy, page-turning read! And I gotta say this one's REALLY great! Good writing, I love the tough bodyguard heroine, plus the sumptuous descriptions of his appearance and their sexual tension. :D

You know what I just realized? Male authors almost never describe sex scenes! Reading one here made me realize it! And it was tastefully done and interesting and appropriate. I'm glad he did. :)

I'm still annoyed at the jumping story lines so I skip ahead a lot... hard to say what page I'm on! ;) But the book's still awesome!

Argh, the story and writing are still amazing, but he's continuing what he was doing in the previous book.... you get like a paltry 8-10 pages of a scene and then you gotta wait 50+ pages to find out what happened next! One chapter per character makes sense but not when they're soooo short and sooo far apart!! It's making the book less engaging so I don't pick it up as often or as eagerly. :(

I'm reminded why I try not to read before bed... coz if the book is good I can't stop! Or like now I'm wired from reading a battle scene! ... *she writes with a crazed look in her eye*

Fantastic book so far!! So much gold! And fairly quick and easy to read, as well as enjoyable. :)

It's been a little frustrating so far coz the chapters are exciting but short AND then it takes like 50 pages to come back to the same character and scene! Needless to say I've been jumping around a lot trying to stick with each story line. :/ But I guess it's a good thing... I'm captivated! ;)

Damn it's addictive! I have to go to bed and needed to stop but couldn't so I compulsively skimmed the next couple chapters! Ooof! Some big reveals!
