I am enjoying this novel entirely. It already exceeds all but Victoria's first mystery.

Do you know how you read the first page or two of a novel, to judge how soon you might like to queue it and how you like the author's writing? In youth books I want to ensure they aren't too juvenile, nor about social injustice, bullies, nor depressing, dramatic problems. My entertainment is for fun, positive adventures. Well, isn't it wonderful when your progress triples and you are suddenly right into the story?

It is lovely to revisit Victoria Thompson's characters. I believe this is my first non-fiction of the sad, difficult 2021. I needed the educational, healing, and spiritual material to boost my spirits at the very recent loss of our precious cat to stomach cancer. Now I need one of my favourite genres of storybooks to uplift me.

This has been more helpful and enjoyable than I guessed. However, Susan's first book was chockfull of submitted stories. This has hardly any and I tired of her viewpoint. Reviewers noticed correctly that she is behind ideals most animal lovers get: Heaven & animals, telepathic communication, vegetarians, no-kill shelters make sense and it is nuts that any place kills. But her philophical end chapter is dragging.

Funnier than you can believe! Pick this up, as well as volume 1. Pat Hancock hit it out of the park in humour! Manitoba is mentioned a lot and that is always good.

Ah, Canada.

I am quite importantly acquainting numerous Canadian heroines I didn't know: from sports, to members of parliament, law-changers for women's rights without being permitted to be MLAs, aviators, and poets. I am only thus far familiar with Anne Murray and her coverage could have been much better. Lisa made it sound like she only had two hit songs. She should have conveyed that it isn't Christmas here, without Anne!

This book is filled with much more active detail and self-healing to try, with fewer wide expanses of hypothesizing than Masaru Emoto's first treatise. This makes it easy to give the first to my dear Aunt, so this education can keep rolling out to everyone who is passionate about alternative healing.

Beautifully uplifting just when I need things to be and educational to me all the while.

This has arrived 5 days late for our precious son, Spirit and this mail makes me cry. I wanted to try everything to help him heal or be well enough to live a little more. His love is so powerful, his presence, eyes, face, and voice so dear; we can't bear to be without this beautiful cat son on Earth. We have 4 other cats and a missing 1 with a tattoo to return to us. We shall learn healing gifts for all of them.

I have had this for a decade or more and am glad to be reading it. It is more interesting than I thought, in briefly educational doses. I saw it in my animal shelf section, when seeking out books to help our dear cat, Spirit. He suddenly ascended to Heaven at home on January 14. However, we have no doubts that our precious Spirit knew we were doing everything to help him beat the near-impossible: stomach cancer.

Spirit went to Heaven yesterday at only age 16 1/2. Days after learning of a terrible diagnosis. It was unexpected, with alternative healing and additional medicines to try. He is extremely special; we are devestated. This is a son to us, with his dear form of a "cat" being the most profound and important word there is in our family. We are sad and shocked. Love, Carolyn, Ron, & our remaining precious kitties.

Helping me during distressing news about the health of a beloved son cat. Based on our beliefs never to end a life deliberately, we will enjoy each other at home in palliative care directed by a wellness hospital. The soul will exit when it chooses. We pray it is not yet. We need all of our brightest lights, our cat children, to bolster us through too hard a pile of personal challenges. May our happiness return.

I have the 1980 book not noted as the original year. In fiction I object to comments about stories not sounding current. A book can only resemble its release year. But bad gender attidues are never acceptable. No decade excuses it. This book has outmoded ideas of women feeling guilt about prioritizing peace from an alcholic spouse. How hard it is to obtain peace does not mean low self-esteem about deserving it.
