So good! There are numerous, subtle spirit scenes that would make lovely atmospheric films! This is how you write about spirits! They aren't evil. However, they can spook those beholding them for the first time. They should create a feeling of wonderment and awe. Few authors do this. Why make Hollywood horrors or demons of them? It should be easy to find novels or mysteries that show spirits as a fact of life.

In the middle of reading this wonderful mystery adventure, with spirits subtlely enriching the atmosphere around its characters; I was so enchanted, it dawned on me that here was my perfect book! Being the accessible era that we are in, I was fortunate to find an e-mail address for the author and told him what this book means to me. He has replied that he is glad and bids me to enjoy his forthcoming ghost mystery!

Everyone who knows me hears of my life long search for the perfect paranormal mystery ghost story. Most authors make silly "cozy mysteries" or evil; demons or a horror haunting. Very few authors give us my dream genre: spirits that are simply a fact of life, whom we get to see appearing in a story! Well, this $30 Cdn hardcover that my spouse bought for our anniversary last year is that perfect book! I am elated!

So good, so much my favourite niche of paranormal mystery genre, I am tempted to spend this second snowy day of November indulging in it! Cleaning can wait a day and our plants are either indoors or protected and cared for.

Well, this beautiful hardcover book presented a conundrum that was easy for me to resolve. I dislike historical fiction and the worst is wartime themes. Yuck! I love real history and genuinely aged books; not fabricated periods an author has never seen. What is hardest to find is a great ghost story that is neither "cozy" nor "thriller / horror". This looks like the serious "standard mystery" tone that I sought!

Here we go! Another new, high-priced hardcover as a present from my spouse last year. I saved it to read during my birthday month, a much needed and happy pampering tradition. Two cats await me in bed and a third nearby, who have been rolling in the catnip treat I left for them, haha.

I like ghost stories that are not horror and one for children allows me to be in that safe zone of compelling and surreal but not distressing. It is action-packed, bold, and dark and spirits do not work the way I believe they do in life. However, sometimes creativity is so distinctive, you have to admire it and get caught up in its flow. I can't stop reading this story until I fall asleep each night. I am hooked!

Motoring along. This novel has an original perspective and shares two sides of very separate protagonists' stories.

What a fun pleasure this novel has been in my birthday month. I expect to like the stories Ellery Adams weaves but this one is a particularly pleasant surprise and so wonderfully unique.

I knew I would groove along in this novel. That is why I saved it for my birthday pampering month, November! :) Unexpectedly, I can relate to one page about a town that remembers being unsettle by murder; especially pre 2000 when there was no internet. Simone described it astutely that we were unused to hearing much about crime details. You never forget the victims who were spoken about, when you were children.

Ron treated me to Simone St. James's first edition hardcover new last year, y'all! I am finally indulging in it for my birthday month, starting now, for which I established a tradition. In November, I read entirely my favourite, most highly anticipated authors and genres!

Getting good at the end. I did not know there are 13 chakras versus the 7 discussed in regularly. Apparently numbers 8 to 13 have developed a fair familiarity and were long ago established as "ethereal chakras", housed outside one's body. They are above each shoulder, to each side of our head, above our head, and "hope" itself, chakra 13 vibrating around our whole body. I guess the aura must directly surround it.

I am warm and polite in my polished reviews. So permit me if you come across this, to vent bluntly in my reading update. This is fucking boring. Let us just say that a reader were one of the few who did not know there are chakras, an energy field working, emotions, a mind, and personality working with our physical chemistry. Anyone would grasp this in the first chapter. 100 pages to set up or recycle this point?

Fantastic! I have waited years to read this, since I do not buy e-books. I have my friend, Shirin to thank for the ability to feast my eyes on this story sought after by me. Happy Hallowe-en to everyone!

So hopeful, educational, and I can't say enough how empowering gaining this knowledge is. This book is the explanation for how to keep our bodies in tune and functioning. Expressions and generalized beliefs like "laughter is the best medicine" are explained fully and comprehensively. Mind, body, spirit, energy all makes sense and is easy to do, prove, and make into routines at home. This education is life saving.

I am learning and absorbing so much goodness, encouragement, hope, and skill. Every home should have this book, taken seriously alongside human and animal first aid manuals. Correction: if you read and tried these energy methods and topped your energy up daily, physical aid would be rare and unneeded. It is this important to read.
