Every word is wonderful and in Henry's light, warm, confiding, and very funny tone. I am glad his partner brought Henry's voice and speaking style out in their writing.

I think this is self-published. I only noticed the adult ghost story. The ghost story is an excellent, refreshingly original 'paranormal mystery', my favourite genre. But something about self-published books, no matter how talented authors are, seem amateur and unpolished, likely due to lacking a professional editor. Who cares about romance in a mystery? Why add cardboard expressions and instant crushes to them?

I am at chapter 28. There is a lot of unusually creative information to learn and talk over with my friends, Kerri and Shirin.

I am in chapter 18 and enjoying this novel very much. I continue to love all the characters and seamless modern humour in Maggie Stiefvater's description and narration, like browsing in a dollar store while Noah has an disappearing incident. Although this is a sequel, I am still refreshingly aware that this is original storytelling. I have no predictions about what any chapter, action, or events will contain next.

My girls Kerri, Shirin, & I are back to our quest of talking trees, leylines, and looking for old legends! It feels good to ride along with these loveable characters, while they have fun with a refreshingly peaceful dual gender friendship!
