This is a fine novel, clopping along the road to solving its mysteries.

One-hundred pages in a day means this novel is on its way! I am going to love it. Barbara works with a fellow detective pupil she admires, who has become an inspector by age 40. Barbara is excited to learn from her and is full of hope for her own career to grow and advance. I love this: this is a story of girl power that I am going to enjoy!

Not the paranormal mystery adventure I was hoping for and too much about family dialogue that tries too hard to be dreamy and witty. I loathe the fowardness of the eldest Sister, Cristobel, especially with her Dad. I wonder why the kids call him "Jack"? The novel is very slow, containing only this banter I have little patience for until nearly 100 pages. Maybe the titular trio of "tricksters" will get intriguing.

I thought this authoress was Canadian but see no such reference here. Ah well, Liz Berry is divine anyway. Hello, instantly new favourite book!

This is getting intriguing and mysterious. Let's see where this Italian gothic novel goes. Happy St. Valentine's Day, friends!

The beginning is way too typical of the mass produced "gothic mystery": a missing Sibling, who raised her because their parents died. Can't there be living parents of children having an overseas adventure or mystery? Now that the Etruscan note has come into this plot, it is gaining the intrigue I hoped for. It reminds me of the wonderful, late Lyn Hamilton; the Canadian who penned "The Etruscan Chimera" in 2002.
