got moved to her little island and that dude glacous screwed her over, or rather, she screwed him and syclla over. i love that her and her siblings are witches. also that perses just decided to leave and move to persia permanently.

Love it! She’s so cool — I love the whole thing going with her and her little sailor dude. I feel like she’s going to turn evil soon. I’m getting the vibes. I love the story! It’s really intriguing!! The writing is fantastic as well.

love mel and steph…that whole nathan chapter was torture (for me) - the writing was good but it was NOT for me. now i want to go to a dyke march and eat tacos and scream the lyrics to that one icona pop song. and read adrienne rich. i loved the whole bit with bernice bing…and the fact that it’s an actual film??! i want to watch it. she looks cool. and roxy, too?! she’s a complete rockstar.

LOVE IT!!!! I LOVE IT SO MUCH!! Lisa is definitely suspicious—I’m not getting good vibes from her. Love Steph, Mel, and Joan + Analemma!! So many amazing things! Love the writing, the plot, everything!! So far, it’s beating LNATTC. Love love love love it. Malinda Lo, you ROCK!!!

i’ve finished it…yay! it was pretty good! the ending was fantastic. love sona and eris. my favorite part was them dancing in the living room, and not letting the kids back in when they got in trouble with jen. jenny’s so iconic. love her so much. go gearbreakers!! fuck the deities. i want some gear tattoos now. lovely job, mikuta!

they’re literally snuggling in eris’ bed together 😭😭☺️☺️🥹 bye. milo is officially off the crew 😎. jenny is so amazing in every way. no one can compete with her. jenny should replace voxter for sure. the fact that eris stays up and comforts sona after her little episodes is so sweet i simply can’t with these two. first the dancing, and now this. the playlists are godly!!

favorite scene/reading so far. they danced together in the living room til past midnight. just found out the author made an actual spotify playlist for the one in the book. i love these characters so much. holy hell. eris is my favorite but sona’s so sweet ☺️. love them!!! also where is milo…and is he ever coming back? mysterious, much?

what an awesome book! the kindness of the house is immeasurable. absolutely loved it by the end. chilling, mysterious, and calming!

what the fuck!!??? i did NOT see that coming at 6 in the morning. that was totally worth it, continuing to read this book. i almost gave up. im interested to see how this is going to be resolved…!!!

just finished it—i loved it!! pearl was my favorite. hester was awesome. dimmesdale..hmmm. not sure how i feel about him being glorified in the end instead of hester. she never got rid of her “A!” anyways, it was very enjoyable!
