I've hit my challenge of 52 books in every year since I started doing these challenges in 2016. I've learned a lot by reading all those books, and as a result I have fewer and fewer friends! The more you read, the more unlike the average person you become - the more you realize everybody is wrong about something that matters.

And everybody hates being told they're wrong - except, perhaps, for those rare people who hear it from the books they read every week.
