I noticed that you gave The Dovekeepers one star. I couldn't even get thru the first couple of pages and I knew that I would not like the book. If I can't get into a book withing the first pages or sometimes I will even read the first chapter, I find I can't waste my time reading it. I didn't use to be that way, OCD so I had to read a book if I started it however as I have aged, quality time has become my priority!
