a hen accepts the advances of one rooster, then mates with a higher-ranking one, she can eject up to 80 percent of the first rooster’s sperm, increasing the chances that the second one will fertilize more of her eggs.
I really think this would be a good trait for human women to be able to do. Maybe too complicated though.
