"I dont know what the negative reviews are talking about. The family went through a LOT on this adventure, learning and growing, many hurdles. I just dont see the "smug elitism" others mention. Im not done with the Netherlands section yet but he's already diving into the lessons learned through the bad decisions they made regarding their kids' schooling." Jan 17, 2023 10:14AM

David Byrne
“Sometimes it's a form of love just to talk to somebody that you have nothing in common with and still be fascinated by their presence.”
David Byrne

“Write it. Shoot it. Publish it. Crochet it, sauté it, whatever. MAKE.”
Joss Whedon

John Green
“Saying 'I notice you're a nerd' is like saying, 'Hey, I notice that you'd rather be intelligent than be stupid, that you'd rather be thoughtful than be vapid, that you believe that there are things that matter more than the arrest record of Lindsay Lohan. Why is that?' In fact, it seems to me that most contemporary insults are pretty lame. Even 'lame' is kind of lame. Saying 'You're lame' is like saying 'You walk with a limp.' Yeah, whatever, so does 50 Cent, and he's done all right for himself.”
John Green

Ayn Rand
“Do not let your fire go out, spark by irreplaceable spark in the hopeless swamps of the not-quite, the not-yet, and the not-at-all. Do not let the hero in your soul perish in lonely frustration for the life you deserved and have never been able to reach. The world you desire can be won. It exists.. it is real.. it is possible.. it's yours.”
Ayn Rand, Atlas Shrugged

“Make it dark, make it grim, make it tough, but then, for the love of God, tell a joke.”
Joss Whedon
