I DID. I read it for the first time last summer, and it instantly shot up to the very top levels of my "favorites" list. It was so, so beautiful. Scout Finch is one of the greatest literary characters ever created, I do believe. (To say nothing of Atticus . . . !)

I mean writing my own :-) I'm already working on one historical novel about Britain in WW2, and I'm planning to start a second novel about the Holocaust.

We'll have to see what happens . . . I'll be working on at least two separate novels of my own, so you know, I will have to budget my time accordingly. But I won't forget :-)
