জাহিদ হোসেনের জন্ম সিলেটে, বেড়ে উঠা ঢাকায়। পড়াশোনা করেছেন নর্থসাউথ বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ে। পেশায় ব্যাংকার হলেও বইপড়ার প্রতি অসম্ভব ঝোঁক থেকেই লেখালেখিতে আগ্রহ। শুরু অনুবাদ দিয়ে। পরপর দু’টি অনুবাদ প্রকাশিত হয় তার - অ্যাম্বার রুম ও ম্যাক্সিমাম রাইডঃ দ্য অ্যাঞ্জেল এক্সপেরিমেন্ট। তারপর তিনি প্রবেশ করেন মৌলিক লেখালেখির জগতে। মৌলিক থ্রিলার হিসেবে তার প্রথম প্রয়াস ঈশ্বরের মুখোশ যা ২০১৫ সালের একুশে বইমেলায় প্রকাশিত হয়েছিল। তারপর একে একে বের হয় ফিনিক্স, কাদ্যুসেয়াস, একজোড়া চোখ খোঁজে আরেকজোড়া চোখকে, দুধ চা খেয়ে তোকে গুলি করে দেব, গিলগামেশ, নৈর্ঋত, পরশুরামের কঠোর কুঠার, ইথাকা ও স্বর্গরাজ্য। লেখালেখিতে স্বকীয় বৈশিষ্ট্যের জন্য তিনি আলাদা পরিচিতি লাভ করেছেন।
