Además, he llegado a mi adultez atravesando inmensos desiertos de rebeldía en los que, por supuesto, he negado y rechazado todo lo que me viniera, no ya impuesto, sino sugerido por cualquier estructura superior a mi persona; así que la fe de mis ancestros, la religión cristiana, es de los primeros preceptos contra los que me he alzado.

Ya con 18 años leí a Nietzsche y su Anticristo, y me pareció evidente: la herencia judeocristiana resultaba una rémora, además de una explicación pueril acerca del mundo y la existencia.

Tras muchos años y muchas contradicciones, tras mucho estudio y mucho viaje por oriente, tras mucha devoción al yoga y mucha lectura al respecto, me topé con Karma Cola (reseña disponible aquí en mi perfil de Goodreads) donde se nos dice claramente que la espiritualidad a la que tradicionalmente perteneces es la que mejor vas a entender, y comprendí que para mí el Sagrado Corazón tenía más resonancia que Ganesha.

Ya en este estado he recibido las palabras de Joseph Ratzinger (contra el que guardaba multitud de prejuicios heredados de mi pasado rebelde), pero que este Santo padre de la Iglesia ha ido desmontando letra a letra en su introducción al Cristianismo, donde, si eres capaz de sortear/disculpar el dogma, podrás intuir que la claridad de sus palabras sólo puede haber sido insuflada gracias a la inspiración divina.

Joseph Raztinger es un claro vehículo de la Palabra de Dios. La contundencia de sus explicaciones así lo evidencia.

Si el término "Dios" te resulta incómodo, no pasa nada, yo ya lo uso porque he aceptado que es la nomenclatura que culturalmente me corresponde, cámbiala por "Universo", "Fuente", "Destino", "Energía"... lo que te resulte más aceptable, a fin de cuentas, todas quieren decir Lo Mismo.

Estoy tardando mucho en leer este libro porque debo reconocer que en ciertos momentos, la magnitud de lo que expresa es tan vasta que me impide seguir leyendo y rumio los pasajes durante horas, incluso días.

Para mí es evidente que Benedicto XVI, fue un ser iluminado y los pasajes de este libro recogen tal nitidez, precisión y amor que negarlo es absurdo.

Este es un libro imprescindible para todo ser con inquietudes espirituales, sea de la tradición que sea, pero si eres de tradición Católica, con ciertas dudas existenciales, es una lectura obligada. ...more "
