"Should have purchased in ebook form. It's slow reading when I have to pause frequently to look up words on my phone. I'm no slouch when it comes to vocabulary, but Harari certainly puts it to the test. It's been fascinating reading Paper Menagerie side-by-side with Sapiens. It's my first attempt at syntopical reading and it's been wild to experience this level of synthesis. I haven't had this since college." Aug 08, 2018 08:19PM

Mortimer J. Adler
“The trouble is that many people regard disagreement as unrelated to either teaching or being taught. They think that everything is just a matter of opinion. I have mine, and you have yours; and our right to our opinions is as inviolable as our right to private property. On such a view, communication cannot be profitable if the profit to be gained is an increase in knowledge.”
