I’m a storyteller at heart and find inspiration in every corner of my colorful life. When I’m not crafting tales across multiple genres, you might find me designing spaces, mixing creative cocktails, tending my garden, or curled up with Hunter (my Siamese fur baby) watching Old Hollywood classics or modern television dramas. My eclectic taste in music—from country to Big Band to Oldies—mirrors my diverse writing style.

A professional writer and editor by day, I bring stories to life by night, drawing from my passion for fashion, interior design, and homemade everything. Whether I’m creating new worlds for young readers or weaving romances for adults, each story carries a piece of my creative soul.

Welcome to my literary world—where every book

I enjoy reading Regency-era books, but I don't think I'd want to live that lifestyle permanently. (Not one for monarchies, myself, though I do enjoy writing Regency-era stories and absolutely adore England and her countryside!) And I enjoy Tolkien's novels, but I don't think I'd want to go to Middle Earth or in any of the surrounding areas. (Not at all certain I'd care to meet up with an Orc or Warg!)

If we're talking just visiting a certain book world with the ability to return, then, okay, let's go with a Georgette Heyer or Jane Austen Regency-era novel. There was a movie with Kerry Russell (I think) called "Austenland." That's a concept I can get behind. The ability to "try out" the Regency era—all the balls and teas, routes and operas, posting houses and estate parklands, and all the fun costumes—without having to settle down in that period for life would be wonderfully fun experience for me.(less)

Well, considering I wrote this novel, it's safe to assume that I loved it.

But I know I'm not alone. When I wrote this, I was teaching at a preschool, and four of the kids contributed to the storyline (including creating the four main characters). Whe

I liked this book, but I wasn't able to do the end-of-the-chapter exercises fully. But it was still a good read and cleared up some things for me.

If you're a writer, you probably have no problem writing your novels, but when it comes to condensing al

I can't say I hated it. Because I didn't. But I will say that it wasn't what I expected.

(But if you were to ask me what I expected, I'd have to say, "I don't know." I'd just read John Carlton's book, which was pretty entertaining, so maybe I was look

“You are mistaken, Mr. Darcy, if you suppose that the mode of your declaration affected me in any other way, than as it spared the concern which I might have felt in refusing you, had you behaved in a more gentlemanlike manner." (Elizabeth Bennett)”

“Elizabeth's spirit's soon rising to playfulness again, she wanted Mr. Darcy to account for his having ever fallen in love with her. 'How could you begin?' said she.
'I can comprehend your going on charmingly, when you had once made a beginning; but what could set you off in the first place?' 'I cannot fix on the hour, or the spot, or the look, or the words, which laid the foundation. It is too long ago. I was in the middle before I knew that I had begun.”
